Ptil Tekhelet is grateful to the Rutenberg family for generously donating 5 wooly sheep to the factory’s farm. As part of Ptil Tekhelet’s educational activities these sheep will be used to help demonstrate the entire process of making Tekhelet and tzitzit – from sheep to strings. You too can be a part of it!

  • Keep the flock going: $100
  • Build a nice home: $8,000
  • Wool processing room renovations  $12,000

This is a great opportunity for hands on family learning of Melachot Shabbat including Shearing, Bleaching, Combing, Dyeing, Spinning and Plying (a Toldah of Spinning).
